Locking / Unlocking Client Records

Any Mercury Systems user can now lock client records preventing further amendment.  This is useful if you have certain account customers whose details must not be changed by staff members without permission.  Designated staff members can unlock the client again, allowing changes to be saved.

To lock a client record:-
Open a client record, select the 'Other' tab, then click "*** LOCK CLIENT RECORD ***"

To unlock a client record:-
(You must first enable access token "226: Unlock 'Locked' Client Records" from within User Management for the selected user account(s)).

Open a client record, select the 'Other' tab, then click "LOCK CLIENT RECORD".

Alternatively, you can unlock a client record by clicking the padlock symbol shown at the top-right corner of a locked client record.
